Colin McCarthy, CFA® is a Market Leader in U.S. Wealth Advisory at BlackRock, partnering with the largest & fastest growing Financial Advisors and RIAs across South Florida.

Colin, his wife - Jessica, and their dog, live in Fort Lauderdale, FL and love spending their free time exploring their new home in South Florida.

During his time at BlackRock, he has been involved in several Leadership & Sales Excellence Programs.

In 2018, Colin was recognized as the Independent Investment Management Associate of the Year and as a member of Team Texas, Independent Market Team of the Year. He also served on the USWA Leadership Council, actively providing feedback to USWA's Senior Management and helped lead Key Business Initiatives.

In 2020, he was recognized as Emerging Wealth's Market Leader of the Year and was a Finalist for the Charlie Hallac Award, which recognizes Individuals or Teams who embrace new ideas, and deliver excellence to our Clients through constant innovation.

More recently, he received the 2021 Emerging Wealth Client Experience Award, which recognizes the Emerging Wealth Market Leader that demonstrates continued excellence in partnering & serving our Clients. As a member of Team Florida, he received the 2021 Driving Distribution Forward Award, which recognizes Teams that exemplify Teamwork & are focused on continually innovating USWA.

Colin is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Society - Miami. He earned his BA degree in Finance from Merrimack College, where he graduated with cum laude honors.
