Her work is rooted in trauma-informed and attachment-based practices, and she is passionate about fostering strong, healthy relationships between children and caregivers.
Kristen joined Learning Empowered in 2023 as an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant in the Empowering Babies and Families (EBF) program. In 2026, she was promoted to Program Supervisor for Empowering Babies and Families. She began her work with EBF shortly after the program started serving families in the community, allowing her to play an integral role in its growth. Kristen has contributed to marketing efforts, supported the development of the program’s mission and presence in the community, and collaborated with families, educators, and community partners to create mental health-informed environments for young children. She has also supported numerous families through individualized, relationship-based care.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband and staying active through workouts. She values maintaining balance and prioritizing self-care, recognizing the importance of caring for herself while supporting others.
